Enjoy a private hiking and bear watching experience with a pick-up and transportation from your accommodation in Brasov. Visit the amazing Carpathian mountains located in the Piatra Craiului region and see the Zarnesti bears sanctuary.

Following your private pick-up from your accommodation in Braşov you will drive to the mountains, just outside of Zărneşti. Here you will visit the Bear Sanctuary Liberty, one of the most interesting wildlife conservation projects: almost one hundred brown bears have been brought from old zoos and illegal animal parks, and have found a much better life here.

At noon we will enjoy a delicious picnic with traditional homemade sausages and cheese.

Then you will journey to the Piatra Craiului Mountains to enjoy a guided 5-hour hike through Romania’s most beautiful scenery. Explore the countryside and admire the colorful meadow, see migrating sheep heard and be enchanted by the isolated mountain villages along the way.
