Do this because

  • Enjoy an informative commentary from your captain as you glide along Brisbane's waterfront, passing from the bustle of the city's skyscrapers to leafy suburbs with waterside mansions
  • Enjoy 3 hours to explore the sanctuary with various things to do feeding time or seeing various native animals like platypus and of course, the koalas

What to expect

Enjoy an extraordinary two-way trip on the Brisbane River to explore the oldest and largest Koala Sanctuary in the world, hosting more than 130 koalas on site.

Your boat will cruise through the city's most historic landmarks and unique wildlife habitats as you listen to an entertaining and informative commentary. Once arrived, you'll be given 3 hours to explore the sanctuary on your own. Lone Pine also hosts a sheepdog show, which will allow you to admire hardworking dogs rounding up a herd of sheep, responding to their master's whistles, calls, and hand signals.

You can also visit the Platypus House and and discover more about this native animal from Australia, and check out owls, kites and sea eagles soaring above you at the popular Flight Raptor show. Last but not least, don't miss the chance to feed the kangaroos and wallabies.
