What to expect

Start your day with a difference and join the Street bite'n'bite foodies morning tour in Battambang.

You´ll meet your guide at the Classy Hotel and head to the Psar Nat Market to start the tasting tour with Cambodian Noodle Soup. Take a chance to experiment with different ingredients and put together your own bowl of soup. Starting with the noodles and choosing from various garnishes such as cooked shrimp, pork, sliced radish, and fried garlic. Ladle enough broth to cover your noodles and top off the bowl with chopped cilantro, green onion, ground red chilli peppers, and lemon juice. Finally, mix the ingredients with your chopsticks and begin to enjoy.

Your expert guide will lead you through the labyrinth of stalls and while you take in the scenes of local life and activity in the market. Try the favourite drink of local iced coffee with milk.

Now that your taste buds have awakened, it is time to move on to rice with pork or chicken “Bai Sach Chrouk or Sach Moan”, an all-time favourite Cambodian dish. The plate contains smoky, char-grilled pork or chicken with rice and bitterly pickled radish and cucumber. This is one of Cambodian’s most popular breakfasts.
