What to expect
A unique boat excursion to admire the Sirmione peninsula: a real must-do during your holiday in Lake Garda! You will leave from the Scaligero castle’s port and start sailing along the peninsula’s coast, where you can see Maria Callas’s 1920’s villa - where Callas felt inspired to interpret her opera characters. You can also observe the thermal spa baths and the Aquaria wellness center.
You'll then spot the place where the poet Catullus wrote his poems: the Roman villa known as the Grotte di Catullo. Then just look through the waves to find the bubbles from the Boiola sulfur spring that provides the beneficial thermal water to Sirmione.
Finally, after admiring the architecture and perfect preservation of Sirmione Castle, you will have to lower your head to pass under the castle drawbridge and return to the port.
