What to expect
Elevated above the turquoise hues of the Adriatic Sea, the town of Otranto is filled with all manner of eye-catching spots. On this evening tour, you'll visit the medieval centre and enjoy some free time to browse the stalls that set up once night has fallen.
With an accolade like one of the ‘Borghi più belli d'Italia' (most beautiful towns in Italy), you can expect Otranto's maze of medieval alleys to form a picture-perfect setting for your evening. You'll begin the night with a walk around the centre, which is dominated by the 15th century fortress and 11th century cathedral.
Meanwhile, you'll also get to admire the town's architectural mix of Byzantine and Mediterranean styles as you find your way among the coils of cobbled lanes. Afterwards, you'll have some time to relax, shop at the bazaar-like set-up or watch the world go by with an aperitif.
