Take this unique tour that combines two of the best wineries and the oldest Wood monastery in Moldova.

Biserica de Lemn (the Wooden Church) is considered to be the oldest wooden church in Moldova, its origins being established in 1642.

Due to its historical importance and value, the little orthodox church was restored and relocated to the capital city.

Its rich history begins at a monastery North of Chisinau.

Nowadays the Wooden Church is located on the outskirts of Chisinau near a lake and it is part of the Village Museum. It is a symbol of 17th-century Moldovan architecture, both picturesque and easily accessible for all visitors, making it a perfect spot to visit.

After the visit to Wood Monastery you will make your way to the south of Moldova.

There you will visit Chateau Purcari and Asconi wineries, the fields with vineyards, learn how they are cultivated and the local method of preparation. This tour is also a great opportunity to discover the traditional-style villages, and local lifestyles in the south of the country. Purcari wines are aged exclusively in French oak barrels. Depending on the grape type, the aging periods vary from 6 to 18 months, while the wine becomes rich in tannins and aromatic components. This gives the aroma of elegant wood, vanilla, and chocolate notes to the taste. Château Purcari is a pleasant oasis on the frontier of Europe, renown for its premium wines, which have received awards and praise from international competitions like Decanter, Challenge International du Vin, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, International Wine, and Spirit Competition as well as the legendary patronage of the royal court of Great Britain. At Asconi Winery, which opened its doors to visitors in 2014 you will start with a winery, while also you shall try 3 different types of wine.
