What to expect

After meeting your guide at the SportMix agency in Bovec, where you can leave your valuables in a locker, you will be handed your equipment for the tour.

A quick 5-15-minute drive takes you to your starting point where your guide will give you a briefing to explain the basics of whitewater kayaking. Then it is time to explore the rugged and beautiful Soča River. The professional instructors will be your conductor through an intense 2-3-hour training course and give you the skills, joy, and confidence to endear the challenges of the open white and wild emerald water.

During the course, you can discover the river in a more intimate atmosphere in small groups and be your own captain of the boat. If you are in doubt and facing imbalance, do not worry, the guide is monitoring your every stroke. If you want to fully master the art of kayaking, you can also book multi-day courses.

Once you have completed your kayaking adventure through the Soca River, the van is already awaiting you to take you back to the city. In the office, you have time to check out the pictures taken by the guide, arrange the formalities and exchange farewells.

Soca river kayak will offer you an amazing ride, challenge and motivate you, might get you a bit wet, but one thing is certain - you will come back smiling.
