There's a healthy mix of sightseeing and culture on this tour, and with an extra special VIP touch, you'll get to travel in comfort aboard eight-seater minivans. You'll head into Varna for a guided walking tour, pass by the Roman Thermae and see Stone Forest. Lunch in a local restaurant in Beloslav will wrap things up.
Your trip will begin with a panoramic drive through the countryside into Varna where you'll jump off for a walking tour. Your guide will show you secrets such as one of the oldest churches in the city and take you past the ruins of the Roman Thermae, the largest in Bulgaria. Afterwards, you'll continue on to Stone Forest, an incredible desert landscape filled with standing stones.
Visit the Museum of Mosaics in Devnya, where many of the colourful examples date back to the 4th century AD. This collection showcases the artistic and cultural sophistication of the Roman Empire, and it's considered one of the finest collections of mosaic art in the Balkans. To round off the day, we'll visit a local restaurant for a typical Bulgarian lunch.

Kozichino is renowned for its efforts to preserve old crafts, customs, and the traditional Bulgarian architecture of the region.'As you rumble through the Bulgarian landscapes, there will be a number of stops. Imagine the excitement as kids turn into treasure hunters in an ancient oak forest, guided by GPS, while adults test their aim with bow and air rifle. The journey takes a scenic turn at 'Tabite,' offering a panoramic view that screams photo op. Come lunchtime, we'll swing by the timeless village of Kozichino for a cultural feast at an ethnographic complex.Here, in a vibrant courtyard, get a slice of village life, explore a museum packed with local treasures, and snap photos in traditional attire. The owner whips up his signature bio lemonade, served alongside a hearty meal of cabbage salad, grilled kebabchetas, and homemade bread, with a beer and lemonade included. But wait, there's more – the 'Safari' orchestra sets the soundtrack to your meal, followed by an off-road adventure to Gyulovtsa, where a rakia tasting awaits.

Bulgarian Heritage Tour with Byala, Boat Trip and Liqueur Tasting
This tour is a great way to get to know the best of Bulgarian culture and heritage. With a visit to ancient Byala, a riverboat trip and an afternoon of folklore and fun with the grannies of Solnik village, you'll experience a lot during your day out. Ivan, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Solnik is a typical mountain village, but Granny Radka's house is anything but typical – it's like a mini-museum. She has displays of traditional costumes and textiles all over the walls, most of which were made by Granny Radka herself.'Kick off in the seaside town of Byala, on Cape St Atanas. Discover its rich history dating back to the Byzantine era as you walk through the area. You'll see ancient pottery making equipment, a partially restored winery and the basilica. Soaking up the expansive sea view from the top of the cliffs is all part of the Byala experience. Next, we will head to Kamchiya for a 25-minute boat trip along the river to enjoy the beauty of the Bulgarian countryside.Your final stop will be at the quaint village of Solnik, where we'll visit Granny Radka's house. You'll be invited to take a look at the display of typical clothes, try some local rose liqueur and tuck into a tasty lunch of dishes from the region, freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Then you'll be immersed in Bulgarian folklore when you watch a song and dance performance by the village elders dressed in the traditional costume.
