What to expect

Departing Cairns, Palm Cove, Trinity Beach and Port Douglas this coastal and inland drive is sone of the most beautiful scenery in the world, an amazing experience at any time of the year.

After an enjoyable drive north, your first tour is with the local indigenous tribe on a coastal beach walk experience, you will be introduced to the traditional fishing activity of spear throwing and handling. Practice your aim and shoot before embarking on a stroll (spear in hand) along the beach, through the mangroves and mudflats observing cultural medicine and food plants, whilst spotting the array of sealife beneath the water and hiding between the mangroves! There is an option to catch crabs and other seafood as we walk through the mangroves. Then taste your catch cooked and a Homemade Damper on the Beach at the end of the tour.

Lunch is at one of the norths famous bakery cafes 'Temptations', pick from a range of delicious burgers and sandwiches to enjoy with a soft-drink before having walk around the beautiful town of Mossman.

After lunch, head to the SolarWhisper Crocodile and Wildlife Daintree River Cruise, the only zero emission boat in the Daintree. Glide quietly up to crocodiles and other wildlife without scaring them or hurting their habitat, the boat is fitted with the unique “Croc Cam” to help show well camouflaged crocodiles and wildlife, this beautiful experience practices true Eco Tourism.
