What to expect

Thanks to the waltz by Johann Strauss called “An der schönen blauen Donau”, also known as “The Blue Danube”, this river is very closely connected with the musical scene in Vienna.

This package gives you the opportunity to experience the Danube “live” during a boat tour and then enjoy a delicious dinner.

The concert performed by the Schönbrunn Palace orchestra, which includes masterpieces by Johann Strauss, makes the perfect addition to the experience.

Important to know

Know in advance:

Categories A, B and C of the concert tickets refer to the concert seat. Category A and VIP ticket holders will receive a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice at the bar during the intermission. VIP ticket holders also receive a personalized program and get access to the exclusive VIP-Lounge with a seperate cloakroom to avoid queues.
Choose the time of your boat tour: 10.30 am or at 2 pm. Dinner will be served at 6.30 pm and the concert will start at 8.30 pm
Please be at the point of sale at Schwedenplatz at least 30 minutes before the start of the Danube cruise. There you will receive your ship ticket: Vienna/city ship station, Franz-Josefs Kai 2, 1010 Vienna. After the Danube tour, collect your restaurant voucher and concert ticket from the reservation center of the Orangery Schönbrunn
There will be plenty of taxis waiting at the entrance to the Schönbrunn Palace Orangery when the concert finishes. The underground trains depart at intervals of between five and eight minutes until midnight
On some dates, the concerts will take place in the Great Gallery or in the White-and-Gold Room in the Palace itself, at the Schönbrunn Palace Theatre or in other concert halls in Vienna
