What to expect

Witness the Morning Exercise, offering an insight into the training of riders and their Lipizzans. You will see the training of young gray stallions and fully-trained school stallions in the beautiful setting of the Winter Riding School.

The Morning Exercise includes relaxation exercises, the refining and perfecting of lessons, and the targeted strengthening of muscles. Every 30 minutes a horse change takes place. During the one hour of public training, you could be able to experience two groups of stallions in different training levels.

In order to protect the horses, the famous high-level jumps which are shown during the performances are not practiced on a daily basis and are only occasionally seen during the Morning Exercise.

Important to know

Not allowed:

infants under 3 years are not permitted
photography of the event is not permitted

Know in advance:

children from 3 to 5 years inclusive are admitted free of charge. Please note, however, that children are not entitled to a seat and must sit on the lap of an adult
