What to expect

Become a chocolatier for a day! Learn how chocolate is made from bean to bar, what different types of chocolate exist and how the process of tempering chocolate works. The professional chocolatier will also explain the delicious seven steps of chocolate consumption: sight, hear crushing, touching, detect smell, texture, taste and aftertaste.

This workshop is organized in a way so that you can understand the basics of chocolate making. The goal is to spoil you with various flavors, smells, and tastings. The workshop will last around 60 minutes, and you will use a professional chocolate tempering machine for making your chocolate bar.

After the workshop, you can visit the Chocolate Museum for free. The visit to the Chocolate Museum and the workshop together last about 90 minutes.

From the U-Bahn station “Pilgramgasse” it is only a 3-minute walk to BO-YO Chocolate Museum Vienna. You can reach the station via green line U4 or take a Bus 14A or 12A, which brings you directly in front of the museum. The entrance door is on the corner of Schönbrunner Straße and Reinprechtsdorfer Straße.
