What to expect

Spend a full-day in a challenging hike and reach the Taquara Hill, 100 meters higher than Christ Redeemer.

Feel excited once collected and trek in a circuit of trails inside Tijuca Forest National Park. Receive a great variety of sensations and experiences. Mountains, peaks, views but also caves, waterfalls, ruins of an old coffee farm and, of course, a lot of nature and some adventure.

Make the most of an opportunity to explore off the beaten track deep in the jungle with a personal guide. At Taquara Hills, you'll be at 814 metere /2,670 feet, a 100 m higher than the Christ Redeemer Statue. Marvel at magnificent views to the valley of Tijuca Forest and the West of Rio, on clear days. After the hike, refresh yourself showering in a waterfall (bring towel and bathing suit).

Minimum age is 13+ if accompanied by a parent or another adult responsible, who must sign a waiver statement, and it's important that the child is willing to participate and capable to do so
