What to expect
Visit Santo Antão island, the most famous, yet unspoilt Cape Verdean hiking paradise. Explore its tropical valleys, unusual vegetation and picturesque mountain villages. Hike this 15 km long breathtaking coast path that connects Ponta do Sol with Cruzinha. The minivan will take you to the hike start point.
Your hike will be diverse and off the beaten track, a mixture of steep descents and climbs. You'll feel at one with nature since the biggest part isn't accessible for vehicles. You'll hike through Fontainhas, which experts consider to be one of the world's most picturesque rural villages.
You'll have lunch in a tranquil, local place in a tiny village by the ocean. Afterwards, the minivan will take you back to your accommodation.
