What to expect
Sauna is an important part of the Finnish culture. For centuries, sauna has been considered a place for physical and spiritual cleansing. A traditional part of the Finnish culture is to go dipping into ice lakes or roll around in snow after first getting warmed up in the sauna. It is considered by many to be good for your blood circulation and can give you an adrenaline rush.
For this activity, you will enter the Arctic forest and participate in a firewood sauna. After the sauna experience, you will continue to a frozen lake where the hunt for the northern lights begins! You will be served hot drinks and gingerbread cookies, and will be able to kick your legs up and relax in a hot tub overlooking the northern lights.

- A minimum of 2 adults are required for this tour to take place, the tour might be canceled if the minimum departure requirement isn't met
- Northern Lights sightings are subject to weather conditions and solar activity, therefore they are not guaranteed
- Pick up is included within a 15 km radius of Rovaniemi only, and you'll be required to contact the local operator at least 48 hours after booking using the details on your voucher, outside the radius pick-up is available for an extra fee to be discussed when you contact if relevant
- The tour will be conducted in English. However, it's possible to require also a commentary for the following languages: Dutch, Finnish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese. You'll need to contact the local operator to request this using the contact details provided in the voucher after booking
