What to expect

This gastronomic experience starts from an authentic Provençal market offering the best specialties of the region: wines, fruits, vegetables, cheeses, bread, pastries and other Provençal dishes and delicacies.

After choosing the food you’d like for the picnic, you’ll be taken to a beautiful spot for lunch. All the accouterments will be provided: table, chairs, napkins etc. The delightful Provençal dishes will blow your mind and make you addicted to the gastronomy of Provence!

If you’d like, you can play pétanque, the most popular pastime in Provence, and enjoy a wine tasting in a Provençal winery (on request). You'll also be shown the must-see places in the different locations where the market takes place.

Picnic sites vary according to market days:

Cavaillon on Mondays and Aix-en-Provence on Tuesdays
Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Arles on Wednesdays and Villeneuve-Les-Avignon on Thursdays
Lourmarin on Fridays and Pernes-les-Fontaines or Apt on Saturdays
L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue on Sundays
