Meet at the S-Bahn station Blankenese and stroll through the dreamy, former fishing village Blankenese, first mentioned in 1301. Pass the Peace Oak and admire the old country house and mansions of Hamburg and Altona merchants from the 18th and 19th centuries. Cross spacious parks and climb the famous staircase quarter to the most beautiful viewpoints.
Feel the sand under your feet and gaze longingly at the gently gliding sailing ships in Europe’s largest freshwater mudflat, the Mühlenberger Sand. Enjoy the amazing view from the Süllberg (74.7m above sea level), and take the bus line 48 back to the starting point of the tour.
