What to expect
Join a private half-day tour to discover the Paros highlights. This captivating tour will start with you hopping on the modern mini-van that will take you around Paros, the island that is one of the primmest examples of Cycladic beauty.
You will be transported from your accommodation to your first stop, Parikia, the capital and the main port of the island. In Parikia, you will have the opportunity to walk alongside your local guide and explore the Old Agora. You will pass by the Frankish Castle and the Holy Temple of Panagia Ekatontapyliani, one of the oldest and best-preserved Christian temples, that is the trademark of Paros. Learn about the legend that follows the imposing church and seek out its fictitious but well-known 100th gate.
Following your stroll in Parikia, your next stop will take you to the “queen” of Paros’ nightlife, Naousa, with its traditional architecture and authenticity. There, you will stroll through its picturesque alleys. Its small port with the Venetian castle is enchanting. The boats, the small churches, and the colors of the sky and the sea complete the picture of Cycladic beauty.
Then you'll move onto Lefkes, a picturesque mountain village of Paros with a wonderful view. Walk in the alleys of Lefka, and let your tour guide show you the best sights. You are likely to come upon the welcoming locals that will be eager to share the story of their homeland.
Afterwards,you'll visit Piso Livadi and Alyki, where you will appreciate their harbors with fishing boats, and the numerous traditional taverns serving Parian dishes. Last but not least, your last stop will take place in Agioi Anargyroi during sunset for a photo shoot overlooking the bay of Parikia, before you're driven back to your accommodation.
