What to expect
Evenings out in Crete don't get more traditional than this. You'll travel to the mountainside village of Axos where a whole evening's entertainment is programmed, including a church visit, craft demonstration and a dinner fit for kings and queens. And it wouldn't be Cretan night without some live dancing and music.
From your hotel, you'll head into the hills for an evening of Cretan hospitality in the pretty, traditional mountain village of Axos. Visit the Church of Saint Irini first, then peep your head inside Antonias' loom shop where she'll demonstrate her craft before you carry on to the restaurant.
Take your seat as the live music starts up, and tuck into a feast of typical Cretan dishes washed down with a glass of wine. What's more, there'll be dancing from all the regions keeping you entertained until the evening is over and your transport home is waiting for you.
