What to expect

Experience a journey into the wild and captivating side of Crete, escape day to day life and take your time to relax at the quiet Agiofarago beach. This tour will bring you to visit one of the most historic monasteries of the island and to swim in crystal clear waters at the end of a magnificent gorge.

After getting acquainted with your guide and following a short briefing, you'll head south, through the plain of Messara, to Agiofarago and the gorge of the Saints. You'll first stop at the Odigitria monastery, one of the most important monasteries in Crete. Once you'll have concluded the visit, you'll be driven towards the beach up to a parking lot, from where you'll have to continue on foot, following a path crossing the gorge. The walk to the beach will take you about 30 minutes, but then you'll finally be able to enjoy a swim in the Libyan Sea. There you'll be given plenty of time to relax, swim and have a snack at the beach bar, before getting on the car again and being driven back to your hotel or accomodation.
