What to expect
Are you ready for a fun-packed boat trip in Rhodes? Departing from Mandraki Marina we'll head along the stunning southern coastline. We'll call at a thermal spring, a bay known for excellent snorkelling, and then stop off at Fun Island for water sports and lunch.
Our first stop is the Thermal Springs of Kallithea, a unique combination of nature and architecture. Dive into the water and admire the Italian structures surrounding the bay. Next, we'll visit Anthony Quinn Bay, known for its limpid green-blue waters and vibrant underwater world, perfect for snorkelling.

Rhodes is one of the most photographed cities in Greece thanks to the world-class heritage bequeathed by the medieval Knights Hospitaller. The Order of St John of Jerusalem occupied Rhodes from 1309 to 1523, transforming the city into a stronghold. Their fortifications will be the focus of your photography masterclass. How will you capture the story of Rhodes through your images? Your visit begins with a theory session where your National Geographic-trained photography guide will share tips on composition, lighting, and storytelling through photography. To add an exciting dimension to your day's photography, your tutor will run a competition to find the best shot of the day. With that motivation, you'll walk around the perimeter of the fortress and through the huge gateway, capturing shots of the medieval elements. As you enter the old walled town of Rhodes – which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988 – more exciting shooting locations will reveal themselves, including the Street of Knights and the Clock Tower. Your guide will offer technical advice, demonstrate the best angles, and point out good places to capture wow-factor photos. Once the photography tour is complete, you'll relax over refreshments and discuss the day's images with your guide, who will give your group an evaluation of the day's work. Pirates of Rhodes Family-friendly Themed Cruise
Pirate Tim and Calypso the Parrot need your help to find their lost treasure. But first you need to be fully trained in all the skills you need to become a pirate. Eleni, one of our local crew members, says, 'Rhodes was once a hugely important trading post in the Mediterranean region, and pirates were a real threat to this success. The island's governors directed the Rhodes Navy to spend all their time policing the waters nearby in order to protect the ships carrying valuable goods such as salt and olive oil.' You'll join our plucky crew in search of the booty, and along the way everyone will get into the pirate spirit with some help from the pirate team on the boat. There'll be lots of fun activities for everyone to get involved with. For our little pirate crew, there'll be face painting and lots of pirate-themed games to play and for the older pirate crew, there'll be some pirate challenges to join in with.
