What to expect

Tick off Budapest’s most famous sights today – like its oldest hotel, a fortress, a castle and a synagogue. This excursion is three and a half hours long. It begins with a coach ride through the city, ending at Castle Hill. This rather romantic district is crammed with museums, cute-as-a-button churches and teensy cafés. Discover all of it on a guided walking tour, before heading to the famous citadel. This 19th-century fortress has one of the best views over the city. From here, you can see Parliament, Budapest Castle and all eight bridges that span the river – so don’t forget the camera. You’ll return to your ship from here.
