Your first stop of the day after your pick-up in Reykjavík is the UNESCO heritage site at Thingvellir National Park. Learn about its history with curious historic facts and how it's the place where two tectonic plates of Eurasia and North America drift apart.
Next, you'll enjoy one of the highlights of the Golden Circle, the Geysir hot spring, where you can expect to see Strokkur geyser erupt every 10 minutes or so. After exploring the geothermal fields, you'll continue to Gullfoss Waterfall located in the Hvítá river. Plus, explore the geothermal town of Hveragerði with its steaming hot springs and greenhouses. Uncover why it's also known as “the earthquake town”. Marvel at Faxi Waterfall (often called the little brother of Gullfoss) and feel the peace and tranquility.
