Ischia is a beautiful island in the Gulf of Naples, Italy, around 30 km from Naples. The thermal water is just one reason why the island is a favorite for tourists all over the world, but there are many more reasons to visit this beautiful place.
Experience the sunny southern Italian climate as well as some of Europe's finest beaches with crystal clear waters. Join your guide, a specialist in Roman archaeology, to tour the home of the Gladiator school of Ancient Rome where the legendary gladiator Spartacus made his daring escape and ignited his revolt against Roman slavery.Upon leaving the army, Spartacus was sold into slavery.
