What to expect
Città della Scienza is the Interactive Science Museum of Naples, where you can spend a fantastic day or simply a couple of hours with your family or friends. Among the many exhibitions, you can experience Corporea, the first interactive museum in Europe on the human body and the Planetarium, the greatest and most advanced in Italy, where you will observe stars, constellations, planets, and galaxies!
At Bugs & CO you can observe, listen and touch the world of insects…spiders, scorpions, ants, and many other invertebrates will amaze you, and you will discover all the charm of these wonderful creatures.
From March 6th to June 30th Città della Scienza will host a temporary interactive exhibition, "Facciamo un esperimento!". There will be 29 interactive exhibits, made to be easily used by anyone and robust to withstand even the strongest interactions. They range from, in which operating a crank or pulling a lever tests phenomena due to gravity, force decomposition, electrostatics, fluid dynamics, optics and acoustics, to pure perception exhibits, in which the visitor is called upon to tackle logic problems that must be solved through concentration and reasoning. There are also exhibits that simulate physical phenomena that regulate atmospheric weather, that show tricks used in film and animation, and that highlight how optical illusions deceive our brains.

Important to know
- Your ticket entitles you to only enter the City of Science museum, not the planetarium. Admission to the planetarium costs €3. Purchases can be made at the ticket office and are subject to availability
- Reduced tickets are available for children (age 3-17) and seniors aged 65 and older
- The staff speaks Italian and English. All exhibits are explained in Italian, English and Chinese
- Parking is located at a distance of about 250 meters from the ticket office at the City of Science
- Guided tours and workshops are included in the museum entrance fee
- The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm
- From June 18th to September 15th the museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm

Boasting a strategic location on the Via Appia, Ancient Capua was a hugely important city since its foundation in the 5th century BCE. Your journey begins at the Arena of Spartacus, the ancient amphitheater in Capua. Second in size only to Rome's Colosseum, this amphitheater is older, better preserved, and less crowded. Join your guide, a specialist in Roman archaeology, to tour the home of the Gladiator school of Ancient Rome where the legendary gladiator Spartacus made his daring escape and ignited his revolt against Roman slavery.Upon leaving the army, Spartacus was sold into slavery. He was ordered to go to Capua to enroll in Gladiator training school, where he rebelled against his enslavement and managed to escape alongside several other trainee gladiators.
