Come discover the wonders of Christmas in an ancient Italian castle! It's winter and Gropparello Castle gets ready for the advent of the most golden, glittering and starry feast of the year. Here, the enchanted Christmas glows with gold, sugar icing, sunshine among the dried leaves and fires in the fireplaces that warm the frosty, snowy winters!

The fireplaces light up in a crackling symphony, illuminating the rich brocades with warm hues. Fragrant spices, oranges, bows and red berries concur to festively dress up the halls and salons, decorated with garlands and lights, while the great tree makes its triumphant return in the Hall of Arms, where the harpsichord and archlute await their musicians.

The aroma of honey and orange blossoms in the tea room leads to the ancient kitchens, in which the fragrant mist from hot beverages hides the splendid composition of pumpkins and pomegranates arranged on the imposing central table. Warm vanilla-scented creams and cookies flavored with raisins and cinnamon are ready for the little ones, while antique family dolls are waiting for them to play in front of the fireplace.
