The Doge's Palace has represented the seat of the Venetian political power for centuries. In its splendid halls, you'll get to know the history of Venice together with your guide who'll show you the rooms of power, making you experience the European Middle Ages and the following centuries. Admire the rich details of the gold staircase, relive the sensations experienced by the prisoners who crossed the famous Bridge of Sighs, and explore the Venetian prisons, famous for hosting Giacomo Casanova.

Your tour will continue on to St Mark's Basilica, where you'll be able to admire a real majestic masterpiece of Byzantine art. Marvel at the stunning gold mosaics and marble inlays on the floors, appreciate the biblical scenes depicted and discover the history of this ancient basilica. During this tour, your guide will take you through the first floor of the Basilica, where you will visit the Terrace and the Museum.

On some days, due to liturgical events or exceptionally high tides, access may not be possible. In this case, you will be contacted to arrange another visit on a different date, or you will be reimbursed
Please wear appropriate clothing when visiting the Basilica (no shorts or tank tops) and for safety reasons, backpacks are not allowed inside
Due to new security controls, waiting times are also possible for customers with priority entry or skip-the-line tickets
