Your tour starts with sandwiches and coffee at a local cafe followed by an introduction to cicchetti, Venice’s signature tapas-like bites. Next, it's time for an exploration of the famous Rialto Fish Market. With a local on hand to give you insider information, learn about one of Venice’s oldest industries, and spot strange species you may not find at home. Then, more food at a friendly little shop for a street-food style take on Venetian seafood.

After that, at the nearby produce market, extend your knowledge to include the seasonality of vegetables and locally produced specialties and stop at a fresh fruit stand for some seasonal delights. From there, you’ll sink your teeth into the locally loved sandwiches and a spritz at a popular bar, then head to another. Next, a gondola ride to Cannaregio, the former Jewish Ghetto, where today locals go to eat, drink, and socialize.

Your tour ends with a mouth-watering full meal featuring local specialties such as homemade risotto and gelato, and of course more wine.
