The magic of nature makes the waters glow an electric blue here – so a swim in the neon deep, plus a Jamaican dinner and limbo show, make this tour a bucket-list must.At Miss Martha's Herb Garden, you'll learn how to build a bamboo raft before hopping on to one, ready to float downstream. Your very own raftsman will pilot you downriver, so you can sit back and take in the tropical scenery. Along the way, your guide will tell tales of local folklore and introduce you to the importance of wild herbs in traditional Jamaican medicine and cuisine.After rafting, you'll drive through the historic town of Falmouth – a childhood stomping ground of world's fastest man Usain Bolt – and see St Peter's Anglican Church, one of the oldest churches in Jamaica. These communities preserved their African roots - the Maroon culture is known for vibrant music, dance, storytelling, herbal medicine, and cuisine.'Our first stop is the Charles Town Basic School, a small school at the heart of the Charles Town Maroon community. Then we'll visit the Charles Town Maroon Museum - home to a wealth of artifacts, including traditional clothing, weaponry, and musical instruments. You'll learn about the Maroons' long struggle for freedom and their important role in Jamaica's history.
