What to expect

Take a peek at Malaysian rural life with an exploration of Kuala Selangor, just an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, visit Bukit Melawati, which is a popular tourist attraction and the hill overlooks the Strait of Malacca and it also has a lighthouse, as well as the remains of the Kota Melawati Fort. Cruising up stream, you will observe thousands of fireflies flickering like Christmas lights in mangrove trees which line the riverbanks of the river.
