Escape Cancun on this full-day tour to Chichen Itza, one of the main archaeological sites of Yucatan’s peninsula. Follow your professional guide around the site before enjoying an included lunch buffet and a cool swim in a Cenote. Roundtrip transportation from a convenient meeting point is included.
The first stop is Valladolid, the Magical Town, where a panoramic visit will take place, and you will be delighted by its awesome architecture. Later, it is time to dive into a cenote to refresh yourself and have a very pleasant moment to recharge your energy before continuing with the adventure. After the cenote swim, enjoy a special buffet lunch of authentic Mexican food, as well as a tequila tasting.
Finally, you will head to Chichen Itza archaeological site, and enjoy a wonderful tour of the site with an expert guide. This National Geographic Day Tour is a journey into the deepest aspects of Mayan culture, bridging the gap between the tempting beauty of the cenotes the region is so famous for, and the significance they hold in local tradition. You'll begin the day with a descent into either Abuelo or Zoi Che cenote, where you can choose to enjoy a cooling dip. These water-filled caverns offer a tangible connection to the Mayan way of life.
