What to expect

Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera are the most famous artists of Mexico of the twentieth century, and with this tour, you will appreciate their important artistic legacy. This tour offers you the great opportunity to visit three emblematic sites deeply related to these painters, located in Coyoacán. This is one of the most iconic areas of the country. The itinerary includes three stops: the Blue House, the Anahuacalli Museum, and the Dolores Olmedo Museum.

The Blue House

The house where Frida Kahlo was born and died. Here you can discover the feelings and emotions that inspired her works.

The Anahuacalli Museum

An emblematic site in which Diego Rivera and Frida Khalo wanted to build a home as a couple. Under the great imagination of Diego Rivera, this place was transformed from a volcanic rock terrain, into a museum. You will admire some of Diego Rivera's sketches for murals as well as part of his collection of pre-Hispanic works.

Dolores Olmedo Museum

A very special place where you find a great compilation of Diego Rivera's works and the largest collection in the world of Frida Khalo's paintings. Dolores Olmedo lived in that house. She was a Mexican businesswoman, philanthropist, and musician better known for her friendship with Frida Kahlo and her husband Diego Rivera.
