What to expect

If you like a challenging ride, technical singletrack mountain traverse and stunning scenery, then this tour is for you! Accompanied by expert guides, you will go on a hidden singletrack journey to experience a true wilderness ride in Norway. The views along this route are simply gorgeous and you will need to push your bikes until you reach the north ridge, to reach places where most people don't go.

Your journey starts with a shuttle up to the Opheim lake at 370m altitude. The first part of the tour consists of pushing the bikes for about 45 minutes until you reach a point where it is possible to pedal and that the most fit bikers will find challenging. As you go up, you will see some dramatic views across the valley. At 810m altitude. you will hit a less steep track which leads up to the top of the mountain ridge. From the ridge, a panoramic view over the whole mountain system opens up.

You will reach the Skorseteggi Peak at 972m altitude and take a break to enjoy gorgeous views. You will then recommence the great ride on a singletrack across the high plateau alternating ups and downs. It is now time to point your bike downwards on a pure singletrack alternating rock garden sections and two steps down. This is a truly fabulous mountain bike adventure where you have to pick the good lines and dare to roll over a few rocks.

The next stop is by the Liaset Paraglider take-off which offers another great view to the valley ahead. From here you will take off on a short gravel road section connecting to hidden singletracks then to a tight section by a creek river bed until you reach the first village and a more flowy track, all going down. You will then arrive back in Voss to end a pure mountain bike traverse day with a pint from the local brewery.
