What to expect

Book now to experience the historic Wieliczka Salt Mine, full of unique beauty and active continuously since the Middle Ages, showing the most amazing works of art sculpted throughout the many centuries of laborious miners’ work. The underground Wieliczka Salt Mine boasts kilometers of walkways and ramps, magnificent chambers, lakes and breathtaking salt statues. It was one of the first among 12 sites from all around the world to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most frequently visited tourist sites in the world!

Fabulous in design, the Vodka Factory Museum is located in the historic premises of Kraków’s No. 11 brand vodka factory, which was built in the 1930s and operated until 2010. This interactive, multimedia museum and its elegant accompanying Art-Deco cocktail bar are located on level -1 of the brand-new Fabryczna City complex.

The Museum consists of seven thematic rooms and at the same time seven narratives, which include, among others: a presentation of the medieval apparatus for distilling vodka, a feast in a nobleman’s manor, a revolution in distilling with a 19th-century industrial apparatus for the production of vodka, a bar from the period of the Second Polish Republic, a bottling and loading room for finished products from the 1970s among others. See the original factory, learn about the distilling process and the unique history of the Polish national spirit, and taste vodka made from the original recipe.
