What to expect
The glamour of the 1920s roar again on this Atlantic cruise. Setting out from Portimão on board your lovingly refurbished wooden sailboat from the Roaring Twenties, you'll spend a half-day taking in the rock formations and pristine sands of this ever-changing coastline.
The Gageiro is a 15-metre traditional sailing boat that used to trade between Madeira and mainland Portugal but now takes much more mellow journeys down the Algarve coast. Settle in on her pristine teak deck and let Captain Willy pilot you through the waves.
Glide past the mouth of the River Arade and the beach at Vau, cruising down the coast past the clifftop village of Carvoeiro. Explore rock and cave formations along the way, which will seem to change colour before your eyes on this soothing half-day Algarve sailing excursion from Portimão.

You'll visit Faro, Olhao, and Tavira and travel through beautiful countryside in the Ria Formosa National Park.
