Discover all of São Miguel Island's west coast in one day on this guided tour. You'll enjoy scenic views while visiting small lakes, exclusive viewpoints, a pineapple plantation, and Sete Cidades. The history behind the landscapes you explore will be shared.
Commence your trip with a pickup from your hotel. Your expert guide will accompany you throughout your adventure. You'll start learning about the history and nature of the Azores archipelago. Then, proceed directly to Sete Cidades, beginning with a stop at Vista do Rei viewpoint (King's view), followed by a visit to the village for a short break near the lake. Sete Cidades is one of the seven natural wonders of Portugal and is widely regarded as one of the most iconic views in the Azores, as well as in Portugal.
Following your visit to Sete Cidades, head to the village of Mosteiros to admire the islets and immerse yourself in the culture of this small village. Afterward, you'll pause for lunch at a local restaurant (not included). Following lunch, the tour will continue through the western part of the island until you reach Capelas village, where you can explore the iconic Port, which was historically used by locals for departing on whale hunting expeditions. The tour concludes with a visit to the pineapple plantations in Ponta Delgada, allowing you to savor the taste of the king fruit.
