What to expect

Discover Barcelona and its history with this combo tour. You'll visit some of the city's highlights during the morning, and Barcelona's most-visited landmark in the afternoon: the Sagrada Familia.

First part of the tour:

For the first part of the activity, enjoy a walking tour of the Born neighborhood and the Gothic Quarter. Stroll down one of the most important streets in the city until you reach the Cathedral of Barcelona. Walk the narrow streets of the oldest part of the city and discover the many secrets it holds. Follow your guide through the streets of Born neighborhood, on the way to the bus you will see Santa Maria del Mar.

Board an air-conditioned coach for a panoramic tour through the city. Discover the changes to the coastline of Barcelona for the Olympic Games in 1992. See the Olympic Port, the beach and the fisherman’s quarter from the bus, called Barceloneta. Head to the Montjuïc Mountain, main scenery of the Olympic Games in 1992. Ride the cable car for amazing views over the city. At the end of the tour, you will stop in the MNAC viewpoint to see one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the city. During the way back to the office, the bus will drive through Passeig de Gracia and you will see some of the most emblematic Gaudi buildings such as Casa Batlló and la Pedrera.

Between both parts of the tour you will have some free time for lunch. At 14:45 you will have to check-in again in Sardenya 311 office for Sagrada Familia guided tour.

Second part of the tour:

Learn about the history and significance of Sagrada Familia by the hand of your local guide. Discover how nature influenced and inspired Gaudí in his planning. Find out why Sagrada Familia is a must-see landmark in Barcelona!

  • From the end of January to the beginning of March, the cable car is under maintenance (days to concrete). The service will be replaced by the Port Cable Car
  • The tour operator reserves the right to change the itinerary or cancel the tour due to events being celebrated in the city or force majeure reasons
  • Important information to parents/guardians: Sagrada Familia does not provide radio guide systems to minors under 10 years (those included). Your guide will provide you with the needed devices for you all to enjoy a guided tour
  • Due to security checks held by Sagrada Familia, waiting times to access the venue may be longer on some days. No refunds will be provided
  • The site is a Catholic church; a dress code is required to enter the venue
  • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes
  • Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour begins. Any person failing to appear at the established time will not be refunded
