What to expect
Spend the morning exploring a world below the waves with a scuba diving experience that's perfect for beginners. Sarigerme's seas are teeming with marine life and after heading out by boat, PADI-qualified instructors will have you enjoying Turkey's underwater kingdom in no time.
You'll be taken to the local dive centre to meet with your PADI-qualified instructors and hop aboard a boat. We'll head for the shallows of a protected bay where you'll learn all the basics and some important scuba skills before taking the plunge in deeper waters.
With a guide by your side, beginners and experienced divers alike will see darting shoals of fish, multi-coloured marine life and perhaps even octopus, eels and parrotfish hiding in the rocks. Dry off back on board and you can catch a few rays on deck as you sail back to shore following your underwater adventure.

The river and unblemished, lagoon-backed sandbar beach remain as nature intended, so there's plenty of wildlife to spot. Dalyan at Dusk Tour with Dinner and Riverboat Trip

Then you'll explore Dalyan's historic town centre under the twinkle of dusk. The area around Fethiye is packed with intriguing sites and areas of outstanding natural beauty. On this full day tour, you'll visit the eerie ghost town of Kayakoy, ride the Babadag cable car and have time to relax and swim at Oludeniz's famous Blue Lagoon. Elif, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘From the top of Mount Babadag, you can see a beautiful stretch of the Turquoise Coast, including the curving beach and lagoon at Oludeniz, which you've just visited. Watch the paragliders gliding down to land near the beach.'You'll start the morning heading straight to Oludeniz. It's a small resort best known for the two-kilometre-long curl of beach that shelters the Blue Lagoon. Basking on the warm sand, your toughest decision is whether to paddle in the bay or the calmer, shallower lagoon. Next, you'll ride the Babadag cable car for stunning views from the mountaintop. You'll have time to get something to eat at the top, after which you'll head back down to Kayakoy, one of the best-preserved ghost villages in Turkey.Wander silent streets that bristled with life before the population abandoned them over a century ago. Here you'll find an array of treats to stock up on, from ceramics to the country's most famous export – Turkish delight. Then it's on to Fethiye weekly market to indulge in some more retail therapy. Work your way through the countless stands stacked with exotic spices, leather bags, rugs and ceramics.Next on the shopping spree is Telmessos Gold Centre, a shopping complex devoted to gleaming gold and jewellery. While there, let the expert jewellers impress you, but remember to haggle to secure the best price – it's part of the experience. And if shopping's not on your agenda, just give them a polite no. Snap up some ready-made trinkets or get a special piece made to order. Istanbul is where Europe and Asia collide, and where the past and present meet. You'll catch an early-morning flight to Turkey's largest city and spend a day exploring its rich heritage. Among the sights you'll have the opportunity to visit are the Blue Mosque, the Topkapi Palace, the Egyptian Bazaar and Galata Bridge.On arrival in Istanbul, you'll enjoy a guided tour of the old town before heading to the Blue Mosque – so called because of the blue tiles that adorn its vast prayer hall.
