What to expect

Ride the open-top double-decker bus for one, two or three days hopping on and off at any of the stops conveniently located close to famous landmarks and attractions. Admire the Tower Bridge, Marble Arch, and the iconic Big Ben as you listen to the commentary available on board. You can hop off the bus to explore as often as you wish, and rejoin the tour once you're ready.

The Red Route showcases the best of central London. Traveling as far as Victoria and Marble Arch in the west and the Tower of London in the east, you’ll see the most iconic landmarks of the city including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the London Eye and St. Paul’s.

You're also welcome to join a free river cruise on the Thames with every ticket. See London from a different perspective and admire the top London attractions lining the Thames including Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, Shakespeare’s Globe and the Tate Modern. Enjoy a one-way cruise between Westminster Pier and the Tower of London (in either direction). Essential and Explore ticket holders can discover the city on foot with complimentary walking tours. The Red Route has a duration of about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Its frequency is about every 10 - 20 minutes
The Blue Route has a duration of about 3 hours and 30 minutes. Its frequency is about every 10 - 20 minutes
The Green Route has a duration of about one hour. Its frequency is about every 45 - 60 minutes
With the Essential and Explore ticket options you can choose between 3 walking tours that run daily and have duration from 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours:
1. Changing of the Guard Walking Tour starts at 10am from stop 7 (Trafalgar Square)
2. City of London Past to Present Walking Tour starts at 1pm from stop 14 (St Paul’s Cathedral)
3. Jack the Ripper starts at 4pm from stop 16 (Tower of London)
The Explore ticket includes also the Panoramic Evening tour, that departs daily at 6pm from stop 11 (London Eye), please note that this is a non-stop tour that lasts 2 hours

Redeem your vouchers at any Big Bus hop-on hop-off stops. You can board the river cruise at Tower Pier (near stop 16) or Westminster Pier (near stop 18). The Changing of the Guard Walking Tour starts at 10am from stop 7 (Trafalgar Square), the City of London Past to Present Walking Tour starts at 1pm from stop 14 (St Paul’s Cathedral), the Jack the Ripper Walking Tour starts at 4pm from stop 16 (Tower of London). The Panoramic Evening tour departs daily at 6pm from stop 11, it's suggest to be at the stop 15 minutes before the beginning of the tour to secure your spot.
