What to expect

Download the audio-guided driving tour to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park, and drive on scenic roads listening to the audio-commentary.

The drive to Zion National Park it's full of landmarks such as twisting canyons cut by the Virgin River, surprising grottos of lush ferns, waterfalls and emerald pools. In the Park you will have several trails to hike on, from family friendly riverside walks, to the classic slot canyon adventure. This tour also includes the ghost town of Grafton, a historic Mormon settlement with a small group of aging wooden buildings and a well-preserved cemetery.
When you have finished exploring this area, you can continue your drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. You can take the Zion-Mt Carmel Highway (RT 9 connector) a highly scenic stretch of road with its switchbacks and sweeping views back to Zion’s towering cliffs and the Great Arch. The audio-commentary will continue for the entire 1.5-hour drive that connects the 2 parks. You’ll be amazed at the sheer number of rock formations you will find in Bryce Canyon National Park. As you scan the amphitheatre suddenly you’ll start seeing shapes, faces and figures come to life in the rocks.

Each stop along the drive highlights a different view. You can experience them at sunrise, or at sunset. You can also choose to return at night, cast your gaze upwards, and look to the Milky Way and up to 7500 stars, that the not light polluted dark sky will show you.
