What to expect

Get incredibly close to the ocean's surface and within arm's reach of wildlife aboard this fast and fun safari on a rigid inflatable boat.

Board your Zodiac-style boat at Dana Point Harbor and get ready to watch dolphins jump and whales fluke, sea lions lounge and birds prey on fish. Knowledgeable marine naturalists will provide interesting narration during your trip that's both exciting and educational. At the conclusion of your whale-watching safari, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famous triple fudge brownies: a sweet treat before saying goodbye.

Dana Point is one of the best places in the world to view year-round dolphins, whales, sea lions, and more. May through November you could see the largest animals to have ever lived on earth, magnificent blue whales. December through April you could witness the incredible gray whale migration. And throughout the year you'll have the opportunity to see humpback whales, fin whales, minke whales, and sometimes orcas (killer whales) as well as several species of wild dolphins.

Children must be at least 6 years old to take part in the Zodiac Safari and must be accompanied by an adult. Please indicate at checkout if you'll be bringing any children for proper lifejacket equipment
