What to expect

Begin your tour with convenient pickup in your location, then set off to explore the beautiful island. Your guide will provide a local's insight along the way.

You'll visit the historic Edgartown and admire the elegant homes of the whaling captains and the Lighthouse. Next, you'll drive through the Victorian summer resort of Oak Bluffs, featuring hundreds of brightly colored gingerbread houses as well as East Chop Lighthouse. Later, you'll explore Vineyard Haven with its beautiful harbor and the West Chop Lighthouse. You'll travel up the island through the historic farming towns of West Tisbury and Chilmark, with their rolling hills, centuries-old stone walls and scenic overviews.

Finally, you'll walk through the quaint fishing village of Menemsha, known for spectacular sunsets, lobster dinners on the beach and one of the filming locations of the movie Jaws. Stop and take in the fantastic panoramic view of the multi-colored clay Gay Head cliffs at Aquinnah and the Gay Head Lighthouse.

You can customize this tour according to your interests, you might include a stop for lunch, or at scenic areas along the way for some photos, a stop by an art gallery, farm stand or beach.
