What to expect

Delve deep into Vietnam's imperial past and wartime memories on a guided trip to Hue and the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). In two days, you'll have enough time to explore the Citadel and other landmarks in Hue as well as the Vinh Moc tunnel complex and other battles sites in the Quang Tri Province.

Enjoy the drive from Da Nang to Hue and start discovering its main attraction, the Citadel, as soon as you arrive. Explore the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor's Private Residence. After lunch and check-in at your hotel in Hue, visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Khai Dinh Royal Tomb and shop at Dong Ba Riverside Market.

On the second day, reach the rugged jungle-shrouded mountains on the border with Laos and visit many battle sites in the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone): Quang Tri Citadel, Hien Luong Bridge and the Seventeenth Parallel. Continue to the Con Tien Firebase area and the Vinh Moc Tunnels, which were used to shelter people from intense bombings during the Vietnam War.
