Since 2009, the village has been a part of Unesco Cu Lao Cham-Hoi as a biosphere reserve, which fosters a harmonious blending of people and nature for sustainable development. The tour starts by picking you up from your hotel lobby and then taking you to Cam Thanh fishing village. There you will meet local fishermen and experience the daily life of the locals. Next you will take a bamboo basket boat from the Cam Thanh water coconut forest and have a brief introduction of the history there. After that you can join the local fishermen on the river and enjoy hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing. In the end you'll return to a fisherman's house and have a welcome drink with local lunch, before returning to your hotel.
