Starting from meeting your guide once collected at your accommodation, you'll be driven to Ha Long City which is the capital of Quang Ninh Province. There, you'll see Ha Long Bay (translated as “The bay of the descending Dragon”) which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites featuring thousands of stunning karst-covered islets looming up from the water.
Next, you'll board your boat to marvel at the Thien Cung Cave (Palace Of Heaven Grotto) and Dau Go Cave (Wooden Stake Grotto). Learn about how General Tran Hung Dao amassed hundreds of stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle against the invading Mongolian army in 1288. Then, enjoy your lunch on the boat with a variety of local fresh seafood, before admiring the floating village of the fishermen and the Fighting Cocks Islets to complete your day.
