What to expect

Despite its being Vietnam’s modern-day capital, Hanoi still retains the mystery and charm of past centuries. This tour will include stops at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his former residence, the One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, which was founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong and honours Confucius. It has also hosted Vietnam's first university. You'll enjoy this serene retreat from the busy streets outside.

Finally, you'll have a short walk in Hanoi's famous Old Quarter, once a centre of commerce. Still a thriving community of sellers today, where historical homes and temples are intertwined with stores in a souvenir hunter's paradise.
