Delve into the beauty and cultural richness of the Mai Chau region with this 2-day tour departing from Hanoi, where you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant traditions of the White Thai Ethnic Group.

Mai Chau is the home of many minorities, including the White Thai Ethnic Group. Enjoy a traditional lunch, and if you're up for it, you'll have a chance to taste the country's finest rice wine with a local family. Afterward, you'll take a bicycle trip around the village to see farmers working in the fields and the locals weaving scarves. You'll visit the tranquil surrounding villages to experience the rustic life of these mountainous people. Enjoy dinner at a local family with special traditional alcohol known as Ruou Can and unique artistic performances by ethnic Thai and Muong residents of the mountains of Mai Chau. You'll spend the night in Lac Village.

The early morning is the most peaceful time to walk around the village and witness the sunrise over the beautiful mountains. Following breakfast at Lac Village, you'll embark on a 7-kilometer walk to Poom Cong Village and Chieu Cave. You'll be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the Mai Chau Valley. After having lunch and some relaxation time, you'll head back to Hanoi.
