What to expect
Blackbeard, Barbarossa and Jack Sparrow can eat their hearts out – the real pirate adventures are here in Varna. Enjoy a morning sail of high jinks on the high seas aboard a pirate-themed ship, with a snack and open bar included.
You'll join our crew in search of the booty, and along the way everyone will get into the pirate spirit with some help from the pirate team on the boat. There'll be lots of pirate-themed activities for everyone to join in on. What's more, there's a slice of pizza, hamburger, or sandwich included, plus an open bar serving soft drinks and beer.
For our little pirate crew, there'll be lots of pirate-themed games to play and for the older pirate crew, there'll be some pirate challenges to join in with. Imagine the excitement as kids turn into treasure hunters in an ancient oak forest, guided by GPS, while adults test their aim with bow and air rifle. The journey takes a scenic turn at 'Tabite,' offering a panoramic view that screams photo op. Come lunchtime, we'll swing by the timeless village of Kozichino for a cultural feast at an ethnographic complex.Here, in a vibrant courtyard, get a slice of village life, explore a museum packed with local treasures, and snap photos in traditional attire. The owner whips up his signature bio lemonade, served alongside a hearty meal of cabbage salad, grilled kebabchetas, and homemade bread, with a beer and lemonade included. This tour is a great way to get to know the best of Bulgarian culture and heritage. With a visit to ancient Byala, a riverboat trip and an afternoon of folklore and fun with the grannies of Solnik village, you'll experience a lot during your day out. Ivan, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Solnik is a typical mountain village, but Granny Radka's house is anything but typical – it's like a mini-museum. She has displays of traditional costumes and textiles all over the walls, most of which were made by Granny Radka herself.'Kick off in the seaside town of Byala, on Cape St Atanas. Discover its rich history dating back to the Byzantine era as you walk through the area. You'll see ancient pottery making equipment, a partially restored winery and the basilica. Soaking up the expansive sea view from the top of the cliffs is all part of the Byala experience. Next, we will head to Kamchiya for a 25-minute boat trip along the river to enjoy the beauty of the Bulgarian countryside.Your final stop will be at the quaint village of Solnik, where we'll visit Granny Radka's house. You'll be invited to take a look at the display of typical clothes, try some local rose liqueur and tuck into a tasty lunch of dishes from the region, freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Then you'll be immersed in Bulgarian folklore when you watch a song and dance performance by the village elders dressed in the traditional costume.

Sozopol Guided Tour by Fast Ferry from Obzor

Departing from Obzor, you'll transfer to Nessebar from where the ferry whisks you to explore ancient Sozopol. After an hour's cruise on the high-speed passenger catamaran Seacat One you'll be docking in Sozopol.
