You'll start your tour of Dubrovnik with a guided visit to the Stradun Promenade, one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful cities and its astonishing stone walls that extend over 1,940 meters (6,500 feet).
Not only that, but you'll admire the monumental fortifications and city gates, wandering the labyrinthine streets behind the ramparts. Almost entirely pedestrianized, the medieval town is a treasure trove of architectural gems. Watch columned porticoes and loggias fringing Renaissance squares of marble. Marvel at the 11th-century Town Hall, and go to Sponza Palace, notable for its elaborate stone carvings. Continue to the fortress-like Dominican Monastery and Baroque Church of St Blaise. Visit the Rector’s Palace of the glorious Republic of Dubrovnik, and marvel at its harmonious blend of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture.
