What to expect
Welcome to Stella Croatica where you will get a real sense of the natural, cultural and gastro heritage of Dalmatia. It is necessary to arrive to Stella Croatica first within working hours in order to redeem the ticket. Explore the Olive museum, candidate for the European museum of the Year Award 2023 and its botanical gardens and before you get to taste wonderful traditional gastro delicacies! At the end of the tour, redeem your ticket to the nearby Klis fortress.
Once you get there, enjoy the spectacular view over the city of Split and surrounding islands. Starting from exploring the interpretation center at the foot of the fortress to get the proper introduction, you'll climb towards the entrance. Inside, explore the history of the fortress, which served as a seat of many Croatian rulers starting from the 9th century. By the end of your exploration, you'll see why its name, which means "The Key", truly served as a key to enter Dalmatia.
